Privacy Policy

Vitech Solar is a Philippine solar energy company offering PV solar installations, system configurations and solar equipment trading. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website (vitechsolar.com), our Facebook and Instagram pages and ads, and our direct conversations with you, and what we do with it.

We only collect information you choose to give us, such as:

• Your name, phone number and email address.
• Your address or the location of the property for the solar system.
• Your average monthly electric bill and the type of property (home, business, etc.).
• Messages and details you send us through our forms, email, phone or Facebook Messenger.
• Answers you submit through Facebook or Instagram Lead Ads forms, which Meta shares with us when you submit the form.
• The date and time agreed with our team for a site survey.

When you send our quote form we email you a one-time code to confirm your email address. If you become a customer, we also keep the quotations, payments and receipts related to your project.

• To reply to your inquiries and follow up on them.
• To size a solar system for you and prepare quotations.
• To schedule and carry out site visits and assessments.
• To provide customer service, installation and after-sales support.
• To keep the records we need for our business and as required by law.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making.

We process personal information in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules. We process your information because you asked us to respond to your inquiry or provide a service (steps before or under a contract), because you gave your consent by submitting it to us, or because a law requires us to keep certain records.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers we need to run our website and business, and only as far as they need it to provide their service:

• Website hosting.
• Our database and file storage provider.
• Our email delivery provider, used to send codes and replies.
• A bot-protection check on our forms that helps block spam.

Some of these providers may store data outside the Philippines. We may also disclose information when required by law or by a lawful order of a government authority.

Your information is stored in a secured database that only authorized Vitech Solar staff can access, using individual staff accounts with role-based permissions. Data is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and uploaded files such as receipts are kept in private storage. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access.

We keep inquiry and contact information for as long as we need it to respond to you and follow up on your project. Quotations, payment records and receipts are kept for as long as Philippine tax and accounting rules require. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
• Delete or block your information (see our Data Deletion page).
• Object to processing, or withdraw your consent.
• Be informed about how your information is used, and file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

Our public website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and does not run Facebook Pixel or similar trackers. It uses only what it needs to work:

• A security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) on the quote form, which looks at basic browser signals to tell people from spam bots.
• Sign-in cookies for the staff dashboard, which are set only when a Vitech Solar staff member logs in.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed.
